State Farm Insurance Company offered our client $23,000 prior to trial. Ostroff Law partner William Coppol obtained a Montgomery County jury verdict of $100,000 plus $11,000 in delay damages. As a result, Ostroff Law recovered a total of $111,000 for our client, which was more than the amount of the applicable insurance policy (and nearly five times the highest amount offered by State Farm). Our client was crossing a street at the intersection of Valley Road and Mountain Avenue in Elkins Park, when the Defendant attempted to make a left turn and struck our client, a pedestrian. Our client suffered a knee injury in this incident and required medical treatment that included injections into her knee.
