$265,000 settlement from three different insurance companies, acting on behalf of multiple parties. Our client was struck in the rear by a U-Haul owned vehicle on Route 309 in Allentown. His neck and back were injured and he was required to undergo back surgery to address two herniated discs. This lawsuit was filed in Philadelphia, which had a positive impact on the case value.

$110,000 settlement obtained in nine months with multiple insurance companies for client from Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County, PA, for client with Limited Tort insurance. Client was a pedestrian acting as a Good Samaritan, attempting to assist a motorist who was stranded in her broken down vehicle on Route 222 in the town of Lancaster, PA. An oncoming vehicle that was going too fast lost control and struck our client. He sustained a concussion, fractured clavicle (a/k/a “collarbone”) and a broken vertebra as a result of this crash. Fortunately, no surgery was required for these injuries.

$125,000 Lancaster County Settlement With No Insurance

The owner of a horse that ran into the roadway causing this accident was uninsured. Our client’s vehicle struck this horse and our client sustained a neck injury as a result of this crash. Ostroff Law found a source of recovery and obtained a substantial settlement of $125,000 for our client. This crash occurred on New Danville Pike, Lancaster, PA (in the middle of “Amish Country,” in Lancaster County).

$400,000 Lancaster County Verdict

$400,000 Lancaster County Jury Verdict for client who was injured in a rear end collision that occurred on Harrisburg Pike, in the town of Lancaster. This extraordinary verdict obtained by Ostroff Law Partner Rich Godshall, on behalf of our client, was 400 times more than the $1,000 final pre-trial settlement offer made by State Farm Insurance Company. It was also 4 times the full amount of insurance ($100,000) available through State Farm Insurance. Still, soon after trial, State Farm paid this verdict and did not appeal this case. State Farm attempted to establish that because our client’s vehicle was not damaged in this incident, she could not have sustained the injuries claimed, which were to her neck and back and for which she required numerous injections in both areas of her spine.

$4,100,000 Settlement for Lancaster County Crash

$4,100,000 in total settlements on behalf of four passengers that sustained injuries in a one vehicle crash on the Pa Turnpike (I-276), which occurred in Penn Township, Lancaster County.
