$65,000 Armstrong Cty Settlement in 10 months

$65,000 settlement obtained for client with Limited Tort Insurance. 7 1/2 months after being hired, Ostroff obtained a settlement of $50,000, which was the full insurance policy limit from insurance company number 1. Within another 3 months, Ostroff obtained a second settlement from a second insurance company for the full insurance policy limit with that company, which was another $15,000. This client’s car was struck by an oncoming vehicle driven by a drunk driver (DUI), that had lost control on Route 422 in Kittaning. This client sustained a broken arm (that did not require surgery) in this crash. All available insurance from these two companies was obtained by Ostroff within 10 1/2 months of being hired. Mothers Against Drunk Drivers a/k/a MADD recommended that this client hire Ostroff to handle her injury case.

$200,000 Allegheny County Settlement

$200,000 in total settlement of Allegheny County Lawsuit filed on behalf of our Limited Tort client. Our client was on the Southpoint exit ramp of Interstate 79 (“I-79”) when his car was struck in the rear by a car behind him. Our client sustained two herniated discs in his lower back as a result of this crash. Fortunately he did not require surgery for these injuries. Despite him being covered by Limited Tort insurance, Ostroff Law filed a lawsuit on his behalf and was able to obtain this substantial recovery for our client.

$325,000 Pittsburgh Settlement, Federal Court

$325,000 in total settlements of all available insurance from multiple insurance companies, for a client from Conneautville, PA. Our client sustained a right toe fracture and tendonitis in her foot, as well as a shoulder injury that required surgery, as a result of a car crash. Her car was struck in the rear as she was slowing to make a left turn on Main Street, in Conneautville, PA. The lawsuit in this case was filed in the Eastern District Federal Court in Pittsburgh PA. Our client was covered by a Limited Tort insurance policy at the time of this car crash.

This crash occurred in Murraysville on Route 22 One of the parties settled before a lawsuit was filed and the other settled deep into litigation after they were sued. This lawsuit was filed in Allegheny County where it had a higher value. This is because Allegheny County juries typically award higher verdicts than Westmoreland County juries.

$575,000 pre-trial settlement of lawsuit filed in Pittsburgh, for our client that was rear ended by a truck in a low speed impact at a stop light. This crash caused minimal damage to the rear of his car. Our client sustained aggravation to prior neck injuries and had balance problems as a result of this crash. Our client had a Limited Tort insurance policy at the time of this crash. $42,000 Adams County Settlement

$42,000 recovery for our client, a resident of Gardners, Adams County, PA. Our client sustained a neck strain/sprain injury (from which he fully recovered in under 9 months) in a car crash. This crash occurred in Gettysburg. Our client was heading north on Biglersville Road (Route 15) and the at fault, southbound driver was approaching his vehicle when he suddenly attempted to turn left, cutting off our client. As a result, our client’s vehicle broadsided the at fault vehicle.
